On Being a Dentist
“To me, dentistry is an opportunity to help others, whether it is making a person’s smile better, getting them out of pain, or restoring their oral health. Dentistry is a way of making people’s lives healthier and happier, one person at a time.
“I like to spend time with my patients, learning about their lives and dental goals, and then developing individual treatment plans that are affordable and ideal for their unique situation.
“I am honored when my patients open up with me about their lives, sharing their stories and interests. I learn from them and enjoy the relationships what we develop. As a dentist, it makes me proud when I am able to save a tooth or fix a smile, and to be building a relationship with the patient at the same time.” — Dr. Molly Smith
